Abstract

Technology acts as a catalyst, initiating various changes in the fields of education, research, the workplace, and the utilization of information and knowledge. Colleges and universities have increasingly used alternative strategies to support students in their computer science studies, transcendingtraditional procedures, in thetwenty-first century. By incorporatingtechnological tools, educators can benefit from fulfilling the global requirement to replace traditional teaching methods with technology-driven teaching and learning resources. Consensus among researchers is that the integration of technology is essential across diverse educational systems. Currently, there is ashortage of thorough study investigating the different technological tools used in education, such as computer-based,game-based, mobile-based, and multimedia technologies. This page offers a thorough analysis ofvarious commonly used educational approaches, including active learning, problem-basedlearning, collaborative learning, and inductive learning. The text also includes a range of technological tools used in these methodologies, such as mobile devices (laptops, PDAs, tablets, mobile phones), online learning tools (flipped classroom, web MOOCs), gaming-based technologies (ICT, CAI, CBI), multimedia technologies (videos, MCMs, MAMCM), and onlinelearningtools (webMOOCs, web MOOCs). The aim of this study article is to assess the capabilities and efficacy of technology tools in the field of education. In addition, the work offers definitions for each approachand assesses the advantages and disadvantages ofvarious technology tools and instructional methods. The incorporation of technological instruments in the classroom has generally shown increasedefficacy, or at least equivalent efficacy, compared to traditional teaching approaches. Nevertheless, the credibility of each particular strategy is contingent upon different levels of empirical evidence. Byincorporating technology into the teaching and learning process, individuals can enhance productivity, enhance the effectiveness of existing approaches, and introduce educationallyadvantageous pedagogical advancements. We provide a comprehensive analysis of the current theoretical literature on the impact and efficacy of technology in the realm of education. Utilizing technology to improve teaching and learning fosters a stronger connection between educators and students. Teachers and personnel must employ appropriate technical resources to incorporate technology and cultivate a moreinventiveeducational settingfor kids.
